The Battery Atlanta Announces September Events | South Atlanta Moms

The Battery Atlanta is ushering in the fall season with a series of engaging activities. Guests will enjoy the autumn weather with Yoga by Kaiser Permanente and shop farm fresh local produce at the Farmers Market. There is a full lineup of performers at Coca-Cola Roxy, including Danna Paola and Daniel Caesar. Park Bench postgame events keep visitors entertained all month long with DJs, Karaoke, and special performances. The Battery Atlanta will also welcome participants for RaceTrac’s Run for Research 5K and the St. Jude Walk/Run 5K to support a cause. Additionally, every Thursday, attendees can indulge in a Girls’ Night Out at Blue Moon Beer Garden, presented by Live! at The Battery Atlanta.

 

Outdoor Activities: 

Wellness Series: Yoga by Kaiser Permanente

Monday, Sept. 11 and 25 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the Plaza GreenGuests will stress less and stretch more at the outdoor yoga classes presented by Kaiser Permanente. As part of the Wellness Series at The Battery Atlanta, this free event is open to all ages to help release tension and relax. Participants are required to bring a mat and are encouraged to bring water. Guests can register here.

 

Farmers Market

Sunday, Sept. 17 and 24 from 1-4 p.m. on the Plaza Green

The Battery Atlanta Farmers Market has the locally-made must-haves for Atlantans! A variety of local vendors will be in attendance selling wellness products, prepared foods, artisanal bread, and more. The Bark Market is a special section for four-legged friends.

 

The Battery Atlanta Walking Trail presented by Wellstar

A brisk walk curbs cravings reduces stress and offers a healthy way to catch up with friends and family! Adults and kids are encouraged to get out and get active on the 1.5-mile loop circling the campus.

Let’s Beat Breast Cancer Rally- Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine

Monday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m.

Local experts, community advocates, and breast cancer survivors will come together for a special gathering in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Featuring Jonesboro High School Majestic Marching Cardinals and drum corps rival, Redan High School’s “Sudden Impact” Drumline, to “Beat the Drum” for breast cancer prevention, all are invited to enjoy the music and raise your voice to support this lifesaving message.

 

RaceTrac’s Run for Research 5K

Saturday, Sept. 16, 6:30-9:30 a.m.

RaceTrac hosts families and friends of all fitness levels for a 5K to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation in support of Parkinson’s research. The event includes complimentary food, entertainment, and the chance to win prizes. St. Jude Walk/Run 5K

After that time, rates are:

3 – 4 hours: $10

4 – 5  hours: $15

5 – 6  hours: $25

Orange Parking Deck – $7 per hour, Daily max: $35

Limited metered street parking is available for $7 per hour.

 

Event Day Parking:

Event Day Parking Rates go into effect 3 hours before each event, ending 2 1/2 hours from the event start time.

Event Rates will include the first 2 hours complimentary for all vehicles.

 

Truist Park Gameday and Event Rates:

Parking in the Red, Green, and Purple Decks is free for the first 2 hours!

Following that, rates are 2 – 3 Hours $20.00, 3 – 4 Hours $30.00, 4 – 24 Hours $50.00

Limited metered street parking is available for $7 per hour.

Orange Parking Deck is available for Truist Club Valet parking only.

Hyundai Valet Rate for all Truist Park Gameday + Events: $50.00

 

Special Event Rates:

Parking in the Red, Green, and Purple Decks is free for the first 2 hours, then $20 until the conclusion of the event.

Orange Parking Deck – Valet parking only for Coca-Cola Roxy Event

Limited metered street parking is available for $7 per hour.
