Kids can skate for free two times a week at Skate Zone in Morrow when you sign up online for the Kids Skate Free program. This is a nationwide program that offers free roller skating passes at rinks across the US, including Skate Zone – our roller skating center here in Morrow, Georgia.
The program runs year-round making it perfect for family fun or free summer fun to stay active and out of the Georgia heat. It covers free admission for kids ages 10 & under. Kids Skate Free is now completely free to sign up.
How it works:
- Visit the KidsSkateFree.com website to learn more and sign up. Input your zip code to pull up the link to sign up for Skate Zone. (Or click here to go straight to the sign-up page)
- New this year you’ll need to download the MyHownd App to access your passes.
- Sign Up using the email address that you used to register for Kids Skate Free
- Your first set of passes will be available in the MyHownd app on Monday morning following sign-up.
- Your passes will show up in the My Promos section and in your MyHownd Wallet. Visit Skate Zone with your phone app to redeem your passes.
- You will receive 2 Kids Skate Free passes per child, per week. Passes are valid for one week. Passes will automatically expire and be replaced with two new valid passes every Monday.
Cost: Free to register. Skate rental is $3 or you can bring your own pair of skates.

Things you should know before going:
- Cannot be combined with any other offer.
- Passes are valid for children 10 years old and younger. Regular Skate Rental is $4.00.
- Cannot be used towards group rates, fundraisers, or birthday parties.
- Passes are ONLY VALID at the skating rink where you sign up.
- Sign up in advance. (We are not 100% certain how the new app works – in the past passes were only sent on Mondays, so if you signed up on a weekday, you did not have access to passes until the following week. We aren’t sure if this is still the case or if you can get immediate access to the passes).
- You MUST sign up at KidsSkateFree.com – they are unable to process registrations at the skating rink.
- Passes from other skating rinks will not be accepted at Skate Zone.
