For five years, the Atlanta-based Veritas Debate Institute (formerly Harvard Debate Council Diversity Project) has accepted five cohorts of inexperienced debaters, trained them in Atlanta for one year, and sent them to study and compete at Harvard’s summer residential program where we’ve become five-time consecutive global debate champions. This achievement has positioned our Veritas alumni to earn acceptance and scholarships to the most prestigious colleges & universities in the world. Now, we are searching for the next group.
Several hundred students attended our application assembly, and applications are now pouring in from students all over Metro Atlanta! If you know a talented rising 8th – 11th-grader who loves to argue and deserves to study and compete at Harvard through our award-winning program, please share this life-changing opportunity with them while there is still time.
