“Come Meet A Black Person” Anti-Racism Virtual Series

April 14 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

“Come Meet A Black Person” Anti-Racism Series

Racismwhite supremacy — is at the forefront of all conversations today in this country. America was built upon racism and is a part of all systems and structures. In order to eliminate racism, white America must solve this problem. The Black community is critical in giving whites and other non-Blacks the TRUE history of America, and the racist experience of Black people.

The first step is to acknowledge white privilege, and the privileges afforded to other non-whites striving to be accepted in whiteness. To do that, we invite you to join us during the next “Come Meet A Black Person” networking event where whites and other non-Blacks interact genuinely with a group of diverse Black people. “Come Meet A Black Person” is an open forum for humans to start better relationships with each other across cultural and racial differences.

As part of the event, we give three short privilege tests during the “Come Meet A Black Person” Anti-Racism Series. measuring the life experiences of people of the world based on the functionality of racism in America and the world.

  • White Privilege Test is for all races, and ethnicities.
  • Non-Black Privilege Test is for all non-Black races EXCEPT white people. (NEW)
  • Black Privilege Test is for all races and ethnicities that IDENTIFY as BLACK. (NEW)

“Come Meet A Black Person” is open to all races and cultures, and includes guest speakers, interactive questionnaires, open conversations and an awesome group of participants. We will interact in discussions, #RacismTalkRooms and #BlackExperienceRooms as we do our part in eradicating racism in America.

Once you register for the event here, the meeting Zoom join information will be available. Here is the Zoom registration link just in case – https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0qdOChqDIuG9yPq32a3uoXh_CxQ__Ynxs3
