Office of Youth Services Launches Inaugural Cybersecurity Partnership with Clayton State University | South Atlanta Moms

“As advocates for education, the Clayton County Board of Commissioners think it is necessary to provide students with the necessary tools to pursue any post-secondary education or career goal,” said Clayton County Board of Commissioners Chairman Jeffrey E. Turner. “This program will enhance workforce readiness for the youth of Clayton County by offering technology training and skills development programs that will increase their marketability to local businesses and other organizations.”

High school students have the opportunity to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in the field of cybersecurity and coding in a university setting. Students also obtain career skills. Participants that successfully complete the program will receive certification and a laptop.
